Sports Day is a special occasion to promote sports, physical fitness, and the importance of sportsmanship. Various sporting events mark this wonderful day. Not only this, it also teaches us the value of teamwork and perseverance. The day inspires and encourages students to play sports to be healthy. Before the Sports Day, our NET Mr. William introduced students to the vocabulary for sport with a fun and engaging teacher-made sports material! This fantastic Sports Day Word Search was ideal as a five-minute filler activity for fast-finishers in the run-up to sports day. The resource contained a range of sports day vocabulary that helped them consolidate their knowledge of spelling. This colourful and exciting word game also worked perfectly as an activity to continue the excitement for sports day.
